PENINSULA TONGUE TIE

About Us

At Peninsula Tongue Tie, we offer precise evaluations and gentle laser treatment for tongue, lip, and buccal ties in patients of all ages. Our focus is on helping infants feed better, children speak more clearly, and adults find relief from long-standing oral restrictions — all in a warm, collaborative setting.

Scheduling is handled through Chompers Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics — we're proud to be part of the same trusted care team.

Specialized Care for Tongue, Lip & Buccal Ties

At Peninsula Tongue Tie, we’re dedicated to helping infants, children, and adults overcome the challenges caused by tethered oral tissues — from nursing and bottle-feeding difficulties to speech concerns, sleep issues, and jaw tension.

Our clinical team — Dr. Kenny Tse, Dr. Laura Lim, and Dr. Liza Heron — shares a deep commitment to gentle, individualized care. Together, they have trained with leading experts in laser dentistry and the treatment of tongue, lip, and buccal ties, including Dr. Soroush Zaghi and Dr. Richard Baxter. Their approach is grounded in current research, hands-on clinical training, and a sincere dedication to supporting families through every step of the journey.

We use a medical-grade CO₂ laser (10,600 nm) — considered the gold standard for soft-tissue procedures — which allows us to perform frenectomies with exceptional precision, minimal discomfort, and faster healing compared to diode or erbium lasers commonly used in general practices.

To ensure the best possible outcomes, we collaborate closely with lactation consultants, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and bodyworkers. This team-based approach allows us to address each patient's unique needs holistically — supporting proper function, healing, and long-term wellness.

Every treatment plan is personalized, evidence-based, and designed to restore healthy oral function while providing compassionate support for your family at every stage.
